The Assembly Roller 170 Series is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) assembly which includes Print roller, Bearings, and Roller gear. This assembly is used in Maternal-Infant Care and other applicable devices. The bearings are pressed to the shaft of the printer roller, and the bearings are fully seated into the roller. The roller gear is pressed to the knurled section of the printer roller until fully seated. The knurl on the printer roller is sharp and there are 25 teeth on it to ensure the sharpness. The sleeve of the roller assembly is made up of silicone rubber with 40 shore A durometer, which makes it a softer rubber. There are no foreign material or loose particles in the assembly. The roller gear has the surface free of flash, sink marks, and flaws. The assembly is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability.
