A build-up of dust impacts performance of electronics as it causes components of the assembly to retain heat and make it more difficult for the internal fans to dissipate heat from the system. This filter assembly filter outs the dust, particulate matter, and other solid airborne material. The filter uses a 25 PPI Polyurethane foam air filter which acts as a arrester and filters out large dust particles. The foam air filter is encapsulated in a dimensionally accurate 212.85 X 212.85 mm aluminum housing, and one side of the housing comes with a uni-grid support. This Filter assembly is compatible with GE's Optima 660, Optima 540, Lightspeed RT, VCT, Discovery HD 750, Lightspeed Ultra, Plus, QXi, and Discovery ST systems. The item will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
