The GE4 AMC Amplifier is used for positioner control and is used in radiographic systems and other demanding applications. The AMC amplifier is designed to perform in accordance with the governmental, safety, and regulatory standards. It is comprised of a CAN interface, control logic and protection circuit, logic power supply, power output stage, main controller and motor feedback. It provides a 15-pin High Density (HD) Sub-D female connector to allow connection of the motor encoder and brushless motor hall sensors. This amplifier is capable of operating in torque, velocity, position, or PVT mode. These modes will be controlled via CAN based commands. All edges, corners, or surfaces within the service volume of the FRU or any other potentially serviceable component or subassemblies are free of burrs, rounded and are sufficiently protected to prevent injury to service personnel.
