The Millennium Data Acquisition System (MDAS) converter board processes low current signals from 128 X-Ray detector photodiode outputs and converts the signals into two digital serial streams. It integrates the low-level current signals from 128 channels of a CT X-Ray detector and convert it to 128 voltage signals and to 128 serial digital values. It receives control and configuration setup from the DAS Control Board (DCB) through a serial CAN interface bus. It performs a self-test on power up. The circuit board design includes dedicated input anti-aliasing filter circuit (preamplifier) and floating point amplifiers. Printed Wiring Board (PWB) has flammability classification as 94V-1. The flammability rating of the fab is 94V-0. The board can be used for setting up the digital values for serial transmission. Relevant texts are printed on the labels surface for identification purposes and all labels are securely affixed. It is a ROHS compliant. The MDAS16 Converter Board is contained in a PWA Shipping Box that is Silver Shielded with Foam.
