This Fastener/Screw can be used with nut or directly driven into tapped holes (without nuts). This screw is made up of steel and heat treated to increase its harness. The Zinc plating and F70B5A2 specification confirms to reduces the hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon due to which hydride-forming metals such as titanium, vanadium, zirconium, tantalum, and niobium become brittle and fracture due to the introduction and subsequent diffusion of hydrogen into the metal, thus ensuring good rust-corrosion resistance strength and load bearing capabilities. The screw has #10-32 full thread and comes with a countersunk flat head with hexagonal socket drive. The countersuck head flat head gives it a clean look when fastened to a tapping with counter bore. These screws can be used in various assemblies like Overhead Tube Suspension, AMX4 Horizontal Arm Assembly, Tube assembly and other Medical Equipment assemblies of GE such as Discovery ST, Brightspeed, Lightspeed, Hispeed CT & X-Ray systems.The material will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
