  • A Cable Tie is a fastener, for holding electrical cables or wires or other components together. It contains ridges along the length and a head at the end. The ridge is locked in the head while holding the harness wires or components together. The free end is pulled such that a firm binding grip is provided around the wires. Cable ties have excellent resistance to chemicals, oil and grease. They are inert to external environmental conditions and provide excellent weather resistance and hence are used in a wide range of medical applications. They are safe and do not damage the components or wires that they hold. The tensile strength provides a bundling force of 30 pounds. They do not require any maintenance and are simple. They are tough and strong and are easy to handle which makes them widely used in various medical equipment.
