This RFI (Radio frequency Interference) gasket is used with the 15-Pin HDF,HDD metal shell connectors. A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space or irregularities between two or more mating surfaces. It is also used to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression.This is the most common products used in interference shielding applications. These gaskets can be used to seal access panels, backplanes, or interface devices and are usually lightweight or conformable in order to prevent any reduction in an electronic device’s functionality. Their low closure force helps ensure that electrical systems maintain stable performance.These RFI gaskets are intended to close any gaps through which interference emissions can escape. It is made of brass with tin plated finish which is known for good thermal conductivity,malleability, workability and durability. This is compatible with Signa Premier 3.0T Magnetic Resonance System.
