The Assembly CAN (Controller Area Network) FO (Fiber-Optic) board delivers information via fiber optic cables to various nodes in the magnet room.The CFB (CAN Fiber-Optic Board) controls the CAN arbitration. Additionally, the CFB provides flexibility for future addition of nodes, replaces customized serial links, and diagnostic capabilities. The CFB receives a +8V DC power supply and a dedicated 1-wire 5V DC supply from PHPS2 (Patient Handling Power Supply). It also has an on board power supply section to generate local +5V DC, +3.3V DC, and +1.2V DC power supplies. This board can be used with Discovery 750w GEM 3.-T, and Discovery 750 3.0T systems.
