The TGC (Time Gain Compensation) Assembly is a part of keyboard assembly of the GE's ultraound systems. The assembly includes a circuit board, a interface cable and 4 M3 X 4 Spring washer machine Screws. The circuit board comprises of a bare PCB, 8 slide Potentiometers (POT), capacitors, resistance and a connector. All sliding Potentiometers on the board have maximum travel length of 45 mm and are used to compensate various pre-defined parameters on the ultrasound machines. TGC amplifies returning signals to correct for the attenuation caused by tissues at increasing depths. TGC slide pots are spaced proportionately to the depth. The circuit board is 2 layer board made up of a flame retardant glass laminated FR4 material. The cable in the kit includes 10 wires and 10 pin wire to board connectors on both sides. It can be mounted on the keyboard assembly with provided four screws through four pre-drilled holes. This assembly can be used with GE's Logiq P3 Ultrasound systems.
