The Gimp Seal is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a very good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The gimp seal is used in MR Signa Optima HDxt 23 3.0T, XR KM Aero DR Rad, CT LightSpeed 3.X Ultra 8-Slice, XR Optima XR200amx, XR Definium 5000 and many other products. The EDPM (ethylene propylene diene monomer (M-class)) rubber material helps to make the seal light in weight without compromising on the integral strength of the component. The high dimensional accuracy ensures perfect fit of the seal as per the requirement. The high-grade rubber material used for the seal has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the part. The seal is free from any burrs and sharp edges which enhances the safety aspect of the component. The EDPM material also has excellent resistance to UV exposure, ozone, weathering which ensures the component maintains its bright white color for a long duration.
