The Encap Phantom Kit Prodigy is used in X-ray machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. They can also be used to conduct physics experiments. Hence, the material of the Phantoms should closely scan the human tissue, in particular, and the radiological characteristics of the material must be similar to that of the tissue. The Phantom is a sample material which is used to check the machines and test before using with human beings to avoid risk. It is also used for the medical practitioners to get trained with the scanners and acquire knowledge about it. It is made of high quality materials and ensured before delivering, that the product is free from dust, burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash marks. It is used in the digital radiation room for the routine inspection of the medical diagnostic equipment. It routinely checks the optimum imaging performance and the appropriate radiation dose. Phantoms are special objects of imaging equipment that are often used for calibration and testing purposes. In radiology, Phantoms are utilized to estimate radiation dose delivered to patients and evaluate the quality of imaging systems. It is used in machines such as Optima XR 220, Optima XR 240, AMX 4D and other similar machines.
