The Film Positioner Alignment Jig Assembly is a specially designed assembly used for in Lunar iDXA™ scanners. The jig is a kind of custom-made tool which is used to control the location and motion of the components. This film positioner is the most comprehensive and durable positioning system available. The film jig tool is used to align a target with the active detector elements in the Lunar iDXA™ scanner. This device is part of the mechanical adjustment to align source and detector. The assembly is made up of high quality cast aluminum tool & jig plate and has excellent corrosion resistance which makes it well suited for medical applications. This particular part is being used in XR (BMD) IDXA medical machines. The smooth finish is maintained over all of the surfaces. This material offers excellent dimensional ability to the component which enables proper mounting to the required assembly and make the installation easy.
