The 3T-Dual Body T/R Switch is the Body Coil RF interface, to the system. During transmit mode the module splits the high RF power (35KW max.) to I, Q channels of the body coil while in receive mode the unit will direct the receive signals from the Body I,Q channels to the Preamp combiner module for first stage of amplification, and the I,Q receive signals will be combined and directed to one receive channel. The unit also contains two RF Traps and DD switches to improve body coil decoupling. The 3T Dual Body T/R Switch Assembly consists of a High power quad hybrid splitter, Two T/R Switches, Two RF Traps, Two Direct Drive Disable Switches and Two 50dB Directional Couplers for reflected power monitoring. The Assembly has four operation modes. The mode state is controlled by the TR bias, and the DD drive bias supplied by the SSM Body TR/DD driver. The assembly have all required connectors for easy connections. The assembly uses high quality components meeting the applicable standards for reliable operation.
