This adjusting screw comes with 1/4-28 inch threaded body and is typically used for adjusting assemblies requiring fine alignments. These screws are used in conjuction with nut/bushing which is critical in not only the length and class of the nut/busing but also the material itself. This 1.38 inch long adjusting screw is made up of brass which is non-magnetic, offers good tensile strength, hardness and load bearing capability. The one end of this screw comes with 0.094 inch diameter hole while the other end while the hexagonal head side comes with 0.6 X 45 degree chamfered hole of 0.136 inch. The non-magnetic nature of the brass makes it an ideal choice for use in the assemblies of GE's Brivo 355, Discovery 750 Surgical 3.0T, Discovery 750W GEM 3T etc Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems.
