The Fiber Optic Cable in Computed Tomography (CT) is used in various industries and various applications including military, aerospace, automotive and transportation, medical, electronic, and lighting applications. The connectors at the end have very high operating temperature. A simplex connector is color-coded to facilitate identification of transmitter and receiver connections. The connectors are made of a flame retardant VALOX UL94V-0 material. Misalignment of an inserted latching connector into either module will not result in a positive latch.
