The New Side Bumper is used for the tables in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines. This bumper is made of Santroprene material, which a thermoplastic rubber. Thermoplastic rubber provides good traction and excellent shock absorbing qualities. The design of the bumper makes it and excellent fit to the table. Thermoplastic can be molded easily in to different shapes and designs making it even a better material to be used in manufacturing bumpers. Thermoplastic rubber provides good traction and excellent shock absorbing qualities. Thermoplastic has good non-marking qualities and outstanding resistance to stress cracking. It has excellent resistance to ozone, aging and most chemicals where resistance to sliding and shock absorbing. The packaging specification manual is also attached with the component contents. The New Side Bumper is used in MR Signa HDxt 1.5T, MR Signa HDx Twinspeed 1.5T, MR Signa LX MR/i 1.5T, MR Signa Horizon Hispeed FX 1.0T, MR Signa LX 1.5T, MR Signa LX 1.5T and MR Optima MR450W GEM 1.5T machine among others.
