The Air Filter 30UM HDPE OD=6.5mm D=3.3mm L=46mm is an air filter thats main purpose is to stop dust from entering into the systems of anesthesia delivery systems. Cooler air is drawn by the system, which contains dust, impurities and contaminants. The dust may cause a damage or temperature change in the system. The filter is placed over the inlet valve in the system, thus ensuring the patients a safe ventilation. Filters are rated on their ability to remove particles of a certain size from the air. This filter that is rated as a “30 micron” filter and can capture particles as small as 30 micrometers. The most commonly used filter ratings are nominal and absolute micron rating. This filter is made up of a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material which has a good dust retention property. It is of lightweight and easy to handle. The filter is composed of fibrous or porous material, which captures the solid particles, moisture and bacteria from the ambient air. The high density mesh ensures a thorough filtration in varying environmental conditions.
