- The RF Bias TEE comes as a part of the power supply in patient monitoring devices. It is used in the Power supply kit with bracket and bias tee as a part of the telemetry module. The Radio Frequency (RF) bias TEE components are used to provide DC current too RF circuits. It is used in antenna amplifier assembly. It is a three port network. It includes a low-frequency port, which is used to set the bias, a high-frequency port, which passes the radio frequency Signals and blocks the biasing levels and the combined port which is connected to the device. This port sees both the bias and RF. It plays a vital role in the patient monitors, where data from the patients at remote areas can be collected and monitored. It acts as a diplexer, a passive device which allows 2 ports to join a 3rd port and to share a common communication channel. It is highly advanced and is ideal for use in medical environments.
