The Down, plain shaft, Grooved rod is a 1.46 inch long cylindrical rod which is made up of stainless steel. This Shaft rod retains the parts of the patient table assemblies in a fixed position, maintain alignment between different adjoining parts or to join the different components of the patient table. It is used in the base assembly of Tables of GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems. The Stainless Steel material of this down shaft gives it good corrosion resistance, possess high tensile and ultimate strength. The pin has 2x machined grooves of 0.253 inch diameter and 0.032 inch wide, these grooves are provided on each end of the rod with an intent to lock the rod in the assemblies using E-rings, circlips etc. The edges of the rod are chamfered at 45 Degree for convinient insertion during installation. The Non-Magnetic nature of this down shaft rod makes it an ideal choice for use with MRI systems. The item will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
